Today we are going to be creating a “Tiny Town” out of cardboard boxes. This is a great way to recycle & reuse old empty cereal/pasta boxes you have around your house. Let’s get started!
Supplies
- cardboard boxes
- paper towel tubes
- tape or glue
- scissors
- paint & chalk markers (optional)
- wooden pegs -available in your local craft store (optional)
First, if you are wanting to paint your boxes & tubes, do that now.
After they are dry, cut out windows & doors and add details with your chalk marker.
Tape or glue your boxes together to create a town, apartments or sky scrapers!
We added some little wooden peg people that we decorated. It extended the play-time by about 30 more minutes!
We would love to see the “Tiny Town” you created! Use #SCWBeth2018 or #primepestga to tag us in your photos!
