Summer Crafting with Beth 2018 – Week 2

It’s Back!  Season 4 of Summer Crafting with Beth!  We are so happy that you are here to join us in the fun.  Follow along with us for the next 8 weeks of summer.  We will be giving you free printables, craft ideas and outside activities to keep your kiddos entertained!  Tag us in your pictures @primepestga  or #SCWBeth2018 & check us out on these other social media platforms FB, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter

Today we are going to be creating a “Tiny Town” out of cardboard boxes.  This is a great way to recycle & reuse old empty cereal/pasta boxes you have around your house.  Let’s get started!

  • cardboard boxes
  • paper towel tubes
  • tape or glue
  • scissors
  • paint & chalk markers (optional)
  • wooden pegs -available in your local craft store (optional)

First, if you are wanting to paint your boxes & tubes, do that now.

After they are dry, cut out windows & doors and add details with your chalk marker.

Tape or glue your boxes together to create a town, apartments or sky scrapers!

We added some little wooden peg people that we decorated.  It extended the play-time by about 30 more minutes!

We would love to see the “Tiny Town” you created! Use #SCWBeth2018 or #primepestga to tag us in your photos!

Happy Crafting and we will see you back here next week for Week 3 – “Shadow Drawing!”
